Hi, I’m Mackenzie! I was born and raised in Texas, but am now based in New York City. I work at NBC News as coordinator for their standards and talent teams.

I came to New York to pursue my masters in magazine and digital journalism at New York University and graduated in 2025. I received my bachelors in journalism and a minor in business from The University of Texas at Austin.

I have work experience in podcasting, writing and reporting, fact-checking, story development, and I have done work on the editorial side of video production.

Outside of my journalistic work, I also teach classes at The Bar Method Noho!
